Storyboard Blog First Scene-  In the first scene, a couple is madly in love. They have just came off of a date and the girl has a rose in her hand given to her by her significant other. They are walking holding hands down the pathway.  Second Scene- In the second scene, the significant other breaks up with the girl. This absolutely crushes her and she becomes very emotional. She becomes this emotional not only because of the breakup but also because of how shocking and off guard it was.  Third Scene- In the Third scene , the girl turns to something that she always knows will make her feel better. She puts on her headphones to try to get over the heartbreak that her boyfriend just put her through and she is trying to cope with her feelings. Fourth Scene- After the girl puts on her headphones , she goes to her phone and turns on a song. This is the part where the music will come in and begin playing. She will begin playing the song “Save Your Tears” by The Weeknd, one of her favorite son

 Planning Blog Song Title: Save Your Tears by The Weeknd Props: Since my group and I decided to produce a commercial based off a breakup between a couple right after a date, our main prop will be a rose. Some other props we will use is a phone and a car.  Costumes:  In our music video we will have one main person as the subject , the girl who had just been broken up with. Along with the main subject, we will have other subjects as well. For the couple since they just came from a date they will be dressed up nicely but casual  and since we will film at night they will wear warm clothes. For example, dresses, a jacket, etc. Our other subjects, we will only use their lips within the music video.  If we can not get our subjects, to dress up nicely they will dress up in normal clothing like t shirts, jeans, sneakers, etc. Film Schedule: On 11/13/22, our group researches codes and conventions of pop genre music videos.  Research: Music Videos Conventions and Codes    My group is doing a pop song for our music video. In most pop genre music videos, the audience usually watches people sing the lyrics to the song within the video. A lot of things are subject to the meaning or theme of the song and how the artist wants to get that across within the music video They usually wear costumes that go with the theme of the music video , so for example if the theme of the video involves them performing for a crowd they usually wear nice clothing like dresses, suits, etc. If the theme is midcentury, they usually wear old style clothing like knight armor, long skirts, etc. If the theme is casual, they wear casual clothing like t shirts, jeans, shorts, and sneakers. Props are also usually subject to the theme of the video. If they are performing in the music videos they might have microphones, a microphone stand, and a stage.  Hello everyone and thank you for finding my group blog for my music video. I had a group for my commercial which was composed of Mya, Kyra, and I. But, for this project our group has gotten smaller and is now composed of just Mya and I. Kyra decided she wanted to work with a new group this time which we fully respect and we both still are great friends with Kyra. I chose to continue working with Mya because of her work ethic. Mya is great when it comes to group project because she gets stuff done. When we did our commercial, Mya would always remind Kyra and I in a group chat when we had due dates for the commercials. Mya would also always get her part of the project done within enough time for the rest of us to review it and make any changes if we needed to but there were always hardly any changed needed to be made. Another reason I decided to work with Mya again was because of her leadership when filming. When we were filming our commercial Mya would take charge without taking over.

 Hello and welcome back for my music video adventure if you forgot, I am Marvin Exantus and I am the son of a full Haitian dad and a full African-American mother. I am the oldest child out of all my siblings. On my mom's side I have a little sister named Malaysia and I have a 3 month old brother on my dad's side named Mayson. In the future, I hope to be a lawyer and maybe even go into politics.  I am not sure what type of lawyer I want to be yet due to the vast variety of types of lawyers there are or what law school I would want to go to. For undergraduate if I stay in state I for sure want to go to the University of Florida. If I'm being optomisitc, I would love to be able to go to an Ivy League school for undergraduate school but using my bright futures might be the best option. Right now, I am currently the Class of 2025 President and I am also apart of the Mock Trial Team. My favorite part of being on the mock trial team is the people for sure, they always have the bes
