Building the Website!

 Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! The last time you heard from me , you learned my group and I had started the production process for our short film. You also learned the first thing we did was come up with a title for our film which we decided would be “Echoes of Awakening”.  Now, that we are further diving in the production process , my group and I realized we needed to give everyone jobs to make our film successful. When taking into consideration then jobs, we realized we would need jobs surrounding the marketing for our movie. With that in mind,  I was assigned the job as the movie webmaster. This means I am in charge of building the website for our short film which we will use to market our movie. So , when I got this job the first thing that I did was look for website builder services. I looked through a lot of different services and a lot of them you had to pay for. My biggest thing was trying to find a free builder service because we don’t really have a budget for this film so the cheaper the better. After looking, I found many different services but I ended up finding a website builder service that was perfect! The service I found was called “Wix”. This website building service was perfect because not only was it free but it was also very easy to navigate and it helps you along the way as you build it. Now that I found a website building service, I thought about the aesthetic my group and I wanted for our movie. The aesthetic that I ended up going for was a really dark and simplistic type of vibe. I thought this would match the most with our movie considering we are doing a mystery genre. I tried executing this when doing the letters and being really precise with the font choice and the backgrounds. Since we haven’t filmed yet, I worked with what I had and I’ll continue to update as we get more content. As part of this process, I also created social media accounts to promote our movie and added in links to the social medias on the website but while I did the website will continue to be updated.   Scene One- The first scene will start with Mya opening up the door to the courtroom. She will introduce herself, welcome the viewer to the courtroom, and then go look for the rest of the members. Creative Critical Reflection Blog

CCR BLOG   1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent   social groups or issues?   Our commercial product both uses and challenges commercial conventions. In normal school PSA's, they will usually have some type of message at the end. Within our commercial, we made sure to end our commercial with the message we wanted to get across which was to promote our mock trial team and we ended it with the introduction of all together as one. In one way it challenges conventions because usually school PSA's use normal clothing such as t-shirts, hoodies, pants, etc. Our commercial we took that typical clothing up a notch, and we wore our court attire because it matched more the school PSA we wanted to get across. I think our commercial represents social groups because it shows a group of people who are apart of a team and the group is diverse as well and shows representation. 2. Intro Blog

Hello, I am Marvin and I am the son of a full Haitian dad and a full African-American mother. I am the oldest child out of all my siblings. On my mom's side I have a little sister named Malaysia and I have a 3 month old brother on my dad's side named Mayson. In the future, I hope to be a lawyer and maybe even go into politics.  I am not sure what type of lawyer I want to be yet due to the vast variety of types of lawyers there are or what law school I would want to go to. For undergraduate if I stay in state I for sure want to go to the University of Florida. If I'm being optomisitc, I would love to be able to go to an Ivy League school for undergraduate school but using my bright futures might be the best option. Right now, I am currently the Class of 2025 President and I am also apart of the Mock Trial Team.
