Building the Website!

 Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! The last time you heard from me , you learned my group and I had started the production process for our short film. You also learned the first thing we did was come up with a title for our film which we decided would be “Echoes of Awakening”.  Now, that we are further diving in the production process , my group and I realized we needed to give everyone jobs to make our film successful. When taking into consideration then jobs, we realized we would need jobs surrounding the marketing for our movie. With that in mind,  I was assigned the job as the movie webmaster. This means I am in charge of building the website for our short film which we will use to market our movie. So , when I got this job the first thing that I did was look for website builder services. I looked through a lot of different services and a lot of them you had to pay for. My biggest thing was trying to find a free builder service because we don’t really have a budget for this film so the cheaper the better. After looking, I found many different services but I ended up finding a website builder service that was perfect! The service I found was called “Wix”. This website building service was perfect because not only was it free but it was also very easy to navigate and it helps you along the way as you build it. Now that I found a website building service, I thought about the aesthetic my group and I wanted for our movie. The aesthetic that I ended up going for was a really dark and simplistic type of vibe. I thought this would match the most with our movie considering we are doing a mystery genre. I tried executing this when doing the letters and being really precise with the font choice and the backgrounds. Since we haven’t filmed yet, I worked with what I had and I’ll continue to update as we get more content. As part of this process, I also created social media accounts to promote our movie and added in links to the social medias on the website but while I did the website will continue to be updated.  Hey guys and welcome to my final production blog of AICE Media! It has been a long journey from going to AS level to A Level and you guys have followed me the entire time. This short film has probably been the hardest project due to all the moving parts of it. By moving parts, I mean so many aspects such as the website, the postcard, AND the movie. But, now that we reshot more film for our movie , we were finally within the time frame. Now that we were in the time frame, it was time to hear from the critics. So, in our group we each got 3 different people to view our film and to give us feedback. I was able to get 3 of my friends to view the film. First I sent it to my friend Isa, who is also in media. The feedback that I got from her was that she didn't like the "scary" music in the beginning but she understood the concept. WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

Hello everyone, it’s Marvin and I know it’s been a while but WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG! Last time you saw me I was a newbie to the media world but so much has changed. Now I’m in A level media and I completed my AICE diploma. But, even though I completed my diploma I still decided to continue taking some AICE classes because I just fell in love with them , for example media. I’m now a junior and next year I’m going to be a senior and I have to start applying for college. It’s pretty scare how fast life is moving because when people told me high school went fast, I didn’t believe it. It felt like I was just a freshman yesterday sitting in AICE General Paper and marine science and global perspectives. Now , I’m in two a level courses and taking AP classes on top of that. But since I’ve finished AICE, I would say my hardest class I took would be AICE European History. Production Blog

 Production Blog Welcome back everyone! We finally finished filming our commercial. Our group worked so well together when filming the commercial and we all contributed towards the direction the commercial took. When we were filming, we kept thinking very hard about the shots and my group and I were very mindful to use different types of shots when we were filming so we can have a variety. When filming some of our shots on this day, there were some problems where some of the specific scenes did not look natural. One example of this was our 3rd scene. In this scene, one of our subjects was fake sleeping and it did not look as real as possible and in order to fix this problem, my group and I did multiple shots of the scenes and chose the best ones. For our second scene, we had arranged the set properly. We had people sit in certain places,  stand in certain places , and look in a specific direction when talking.
