Storyboard for “The Dream”

Hi everyone , and welcome back to my blog! In this blog, my group and I began story boarding for our short film “The Dream”. We’ve compiled an idea for 60 different shots in order to make our movie. Enjoy and be back for more! This is Marvin signing off.

Hey everyone it's Marvin and welcome to my blog! For the group project, I chose my two teammates to be Kyra Myers and Mya Aly. Kyra and Mya both have media studies a different period than I. While I have media studies 8th period, they have it 5th period. I chose Mya and Kyra to be in my group because I have a really great connection with the both of them. When I first met them, it was almost like an instant connection. Giving some background, I first met Kyra all the way back in 6th grade when we both attended Nova Middle. We both had the same science class. On the first day, we talked for the first time in the cafeteria at lunchtime if my memory serves correctly. I met Mya the first week of 9th grade year in 1st period. Mya would help me with memorizing the material, she would give me the ins and outs, and show me the ropes. Scene One- The first scene will start with Mya opening up the door to the courtroom. She will introduce herself, welcome the viewer to the courtroom, and then go look for the rest of the members. The camera will pan around the room to give a full view of the scene. Finally the camera will turn to Charlie and Kai. Scene Two- The second scene will start with Charlie introducing himself. He would state his name and then, similar to a lawyer examining a witness, will ask Kai to introduce herself. After Kai says her name the camera will pan back to Mya who will go looking for the other members. Scene Three- The third scene will jump cut to Joey asleep on a patio bench. Mya will walk into frame and wake him up. Once awake he will introduce himself to the camera. Scene Four- The fourth scene will start with Kyra and I on a different bench. We will be in the middle of a conversation when Mya walks up to us and has us introduce ourselves. After we both introduce ourselve...

Storyboard Blog First Scene- In the first scene, a couple is madly in love. They have just came off of a date and the girl has a rose in her hand given to her by her significant other. They are walking holding hands down the pathway. Second Scene- In the second scene, the significant other breaks up with the girl. This absolutely crushes her and she becomes very emotional. She becomes this emotional not only because of the breakup but also because of how shocking and off guard it was. Third Scene- In the Third scene , the girl turns to something that she always knows will make her feel better. She puts on her headphones to try to get over the heartbreak that her boyfriend just put her through and she is trying to cope with her feelings. Fourth Scene- After the girl puts on her headphones , she goes to her phone and turns on a song. This is the part where the music will come in and begin playing.
