GENRE BLOG: MYSTERY

 Hello everyone , it’s Marvin and you’ve made it this far! So , my group and I decided to research 3 total genres that would help us decide on the genre we want to use when pushing and creating our short film. By now , you’ve seen our research on horror and romance. But within this blog, we will be researched the mystery/thriller genre. We each looked up different parts of each genre and compiled it together within a PowerPoint presentation. So within the presentation below you’ll find all the conventional angles, music, and etc of the mystery genera. This was our first big part of making our movie and our group is working together so well. Storyboard Blog

  Scene One- The first scene will start with Mya opening up the door to the courtroom. She will introduce herself, welcome the viewer to the courtroom, and then go look for the rest of the members. The camera will pan around the room to give a full view of the scene. Finally the camera will turn to Charlie and Kai.  Scene Two- The second scene will start with Charlie introducing himself. He would state his name and then, similar to a lawyer examining a witness, will ask Kai to introduce herself. After Kai says her name the camera will pan back to Mya who will go looking for the other members.  Scene Three- The third scene will jump cut to Joey asleep on a patio bench. Mya will walk into frame and wake him up. Once awake he will introduce himself to the camera.  Scene Four- The fourth scene will start with Kyra and I on a different bench. Storyboard Blog First Scene-  In the first scene, a couple is madly in love. They have just came off of a date and the girl has a rose in her hand given to her by her significant other. They are walking holding hands down the pathway.  Second Scene- In the second scene, the significant other breaks up with the girl. This absolutely crushes her and she becomes very emotional. She becomes this emotional not only because of the breakup but also because of how shocking and off guard it was.  Third Scene- In the Third scene , the girl turns to something that she always knows will make her feel better. She puts on her headphones to try to get over the heartbreak that her boyfriend just put her through and she is trying to cope with her feelings.
