WHO WILL I WORK WITH FOR THE FINAL TASK? (Group Blog)

Hey guys and welcome back. By the name of the title, I think you can guess that today we will be discussing my group. More specifically this blog will be about who I will be working with for the final task. I worked with the same person for the past two project and I have finally come to a decision. I will CONTINUE TO WORK WITH MYA! Mya and I worked so well for our past two projects together and she has such great input. Another thing I love about Mya and why I would work with her is because of how reliable she is. For example, I'm not a perfect person. Specifically, I sometimes forget to do something regarding our projects in media studies. But, even if I forget I know I can count on Mya remind me. I can also count on her to always help out with anything needed. Another reason why it is so easy to work with Mya is because of her location. Mya lives directly across the street from my house. Like I can walk out my house, walk a block , and her house is right there. This makes it so easy fr us because since we live so close it is always easy to film outside of school. Like for our music video, we just went to the park right near our house. Also, since this project might require multiple locations Mya has a car to take us which is so helpful. In the process of our music video, she would always give angle suggestions and was the best director while I did most of the editing. Also, we just naturally have a great relationship so this makes the filming process run smooth because most of the time we are on the same page. Well, I am working with Mya and I am so happy, I cant wait for you guys to see the magic we create with our short film , see you later!

Storyboard Blog

Scene One- The first scene will start with Mya opening up the door to the courtroom. She will introduce herself, welcome the viewer to the courtroom, and then go look for the rest of the members. The camera will pan around the room to give a full view of the scene. Finally the camera will turn to Charlie and Kai. Scene Two- The second scene will start with Charlie introducing himself. He would state his name and then, similar to a lawyer examining a witness, will ask Kai to introduce herself. After Kai says her name the camera will pan back to Mya who will go looking for the other members. Scene Three- The third scene will jump cut to Joey asleep on a patio bench. Mya will walk into frame and wake him up. Once awake he will introduce himself to the camera. Scene Four- The fourth scene will start with Kyra and I on a different bench. Research: Music Videos Conventions and Codes My group is doing a pop song for our music video. In most pop genre music videos, the audience usually watches people sing the lyrics to the song within the video. A lot of things are subject to the meaning or theme of the song and how the artist wants to get that across within the music video They usually wear costumes that go with the theme of the music video , so for example if the theme of the video involves them performing for a crowd they usually wear nice clothing like dresses, suits, etc. If the theme is midcentury, they usually wear old style clothing like knight armor, long skirts, etc. If the theme is casual, they wear casual clothing like t shirts, jeans, shorts, and sneakers. Props are also usually subject to the theme of the video. If they are performing in the music videos they might have microphones, a microphone stand, and a stage. Production Blog: Editing Blog

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog. In my last blog you heard how we finally filmed! Not everything went as we planned but we had to make do. Today I am going to be telling you about the editing process of our film. I actually edited the film on my phone for the most part. The editing process took a very long time, longer than I expected. If I had to give a number, I would say this process took a total of 2-3 hours. But, we knew we had to make up for our filming aspect so I did what I had to do. We edited our short film on this app called CapCut. CapCut is a very popular editing app which I have used in the past. What I mean by this is I love how you don't have to be the most experienced at editing and your edits can still come out great. When editing, the first thing I did was gather the clips.
